I was hoping for these in this latest version. One is simple. 1. when exporting a estimate or invoice via a pdf, please have it name the file with the job number not blinkbid. 2. Integration with Quickbooks. 3. have the main menue buttons accessable in all windows, so many times I need to go back to the job list to review a job number which requires closing out the current working window to go to the main menue. 4. an automatic sequential job number placed in the new job ( still changable ).
I'd also love to be able to see the invoice (job) number from within the invoice. There is no way to tell what job you are working on, without changing tabs.
1) I also second the request for additional export options. The ability to export to QuickBooks would be fantastic, and I know Blinkbid is already looking into that. Would that export create the invoice in Quickbooks? I use Quickbooks for my business, but have struggled with their invoice formats, which are very limited on a Mac.
2) Exporting all the invoice information, (the items within an invoice, not just the total) would allow for some very useful information in an excel sreadsheet. Even having the Job number and other info entered on the overview screen would be nice.
3) Possibly changing the invoice from simply itemized or summary, to allow certain lines or categories to print with checkboxes? Maybe this could be saved as a part of templates? The reason for this is different clients, some who want everything on the bill explained, and others who need things made simple. For instance, I'd love each line of a reimbursed explense like a meal to be printed, but for some clients, I don't want each line item of digital charges listed. The ability to customize would be amazing.
